Public Liability / Employers Liability Insurance. There is a special youth clubs insurance scheme in place with Royal & Sun Alliance which is administered by BJK Insurance Brokers. Access to this scheme can only be achieved by affiliated groups. An insurance declaration form is enclosed for your completion and we would be grateful if you could confirm whether or not you require Public Liability/Employers Liability Insurance through BJK or whether you have this insurance elsewhere. If the latter, please ensure that details of the cover you already have in place are entered on the declaration before you return it to us - we require this information for our records. Groups attempting to access the scheme through BJK without current affiliation will be referred to bayc in order that affiliation can be effected. BJK Insurance Brokers can be contacted between the hours of 10 -12 am and2 - 4 pm only, Monday to Friday. We offer 3 categories of affiliation, tailored to the group’s niche within the youth work scene and these are borne out of the strategic thinking for the future development of bayc. Standard Package This package gives groups 1 year’s affiliation (1st April to 31st March) and includes all of our basic core services: Physical/practical support to affiliated groups e.g. policies, training and general youth work issues. CRB support/training, inclusive of up to 10 FREE CRB checks for volunteers in any one year. Subsidised activities and amenities e.g. the Studio Barn residential centre. Local service providers and insurance policies. Access to support from bayc’s pool of trained youth workers. Access to projects negotiated/instigated by bayc. A monthly mailing of information via email or web downloads. (Please contact the bayc office if you do not have an email address) In addition to our core package, bayc is keen to work in partnership with groups/organisation on specifically commissioned projects or events e.g. Youth Achievement Awards, Training, Connexions, Quality Standards, Youth Arts and Specific Gender Work. Gold Package The Gold Package gives you all of the above but with the added incentive that there are no further affiliation fees to pay. Associate Membership This package is designed for groups or organisations who do not have young people as members but nevertheless are interested in the work of bayc and wish to stay informed of our youth provision. It includes a monthly mailing of information via email or web download. In addition Associates will have access to reduced rates for C.R.B. checks.
