Paul Lindsey Trustee and Acting Chair of bayc

I joined BAYC in 1969 as a member of the then Youth Council representing Holy Souls youth club in Acocks Green. Since then I have continued to do many Voluntary activities in the organisation including organising Activities weekends for 11-14yr olds, homeless families, and Christmas projects. I also referee and organise 5-a-side football competitions and latterly Sailing trips.
I am currently Chair of both the Association and Studio Barn. I am also Treasurer to a Voluntary PHAB club in Solihull working with people with Disabilities.
Michael Don Smith Trustee of bayc
Michael Donovan (Don) Smith is an award winning speaker, education consultant and peak performance coach.
Don has been delivering education and training programmes for over 25 years, training and coaching senior officers and executives from leading organisations including; Birmingham City Council, The Metropolitan Police and Barclay's Bank. His background includes significant contributions in military, corporate, SME and 3rd Sector environments.
Passionate about community empowerment and personal development, he works in schools, prisons and with community groups; he is a member of the Brinsford Young Offenders Institution DREAT (Diversity & Race Equality Action Team) and sits on the Board of The Ethnic Minority Council as well as being a bayc Trustee.
A member of the Mindful Policy Group, Don is involved in lobbying, at government level, for a range of effective, low-cost, psychological support measures. Helping to restore emotional well-being, self-motivation and responsibility, to families and communities, and to thereby ensure children are given the best possible start in life.

Carol Morgan Trustee of bayc
I am a co opted member of the board on behalf of Birmingham City Council. I have worked within the field of Children, young people and families since 1986.
I have worked across the fields of play work, community work, pre school, mentoring and youth work and am currently employed as a Youth Officer for the Youth Service, Integrated Services, Birmingham City Council.

I have been associated with BAYC for 26 years in various guises from Youth Council to Trustee.
I am a member of the Studio Barn committee.
