bayc is committed to supporting youth groups achieve basic minimum standards in relation to the delivery of their youthwork.

To this end bayc will only work with youth groups who demonstate a willingness to address the issue of applying quality standards to the delivery of their work.

In support of this bayc utilises the U.K.Youth document 5 Key Standards to provide the basis of the policies required.

In addition to the required policies bayc also advises on recomendations / requirements that groups may need to adhere to, from constitutions to safeguarding or staff ratios to monetary procedures.
