What is the Youth Involvement Team about?

We are developing different ways to support young people in getting involved with decision-making processes. This includes creating and supporting a range of opportunities with young people.

Current projects include

B:YEARD

The overall aim of this project is to test how the action research process can be used as a way to support young people’s engagement in local decision-making processes. Exploring how different approaches can be effective in a range of settings and communities.

The action research approach starts with young people, research with and by young people amongst their peer groups. Young people are supported to identify and prioritise research topics and themes from within their own communities.

Just Ask!

This is a project led by young volunteers who are focussing on making volunteering opportunities more accessible, including helping organisations to be more inclusive. The young volunteers have come up with their own slogan 'Just Ask! working for the future'
